do you ever wish that a piece of furniture could tell stories?
this was my great grandma's high chair.

it now sits in my kitchen, tucked neatly under pallet board paintings.

i am sure this chair has held a lot of babies.  you can tell by the front top railing.
there are two indentations where a toddlers feet fit perfectly.
the wood has been worn down by bare baby feet over many, many, many years.

it is one of my most favorite pieces that i have because you can't buy something so worn, so full of history, so full of stories.
