Preschool has started back.

Can I get an AMEN?

Orientation and Caroline's first day went great.

The day of orientation, we had a minor problem before leaving the house. Caroline laid in the middle of the floor and screamed that she didn't want "that" bookbag. She wanted the "ladybug bookbag". We don't have a ladybug bookbag. I just knew the day was doomed. After promising her the "ladybug bookbag" and my right arm, we stepped outside for pictures. They turned out not so fabulous.


"Oh my dear sweet baby Jesus. This are not going to go well."



"CAROLINE! Look this way and put that hand down!"


"GOOD! But you didn't put your hand down."


"Can you please look at Mama?"

"Caroline. Please."

"At least that is a good shot of your hair." Topsy tails RULE!

Thanks goodness school went great. She loved it.

So, one Sassafras Pull-along Ladybug Backpack and a slew of crazy pictures later... let the school year begin!
