Bathroom confessions.

"Hush" has become the bad word in the house.

For the past few days, we have tried to nip it in the bud.

By last night... Caroline was doing good.

She would just say SHHHHH when she felt the need to say hush.

Score!

Here is where the story begins.

So... she asks to go potty.

I turn the light on and get her all set up.

She asks me to shut the door.

I did.

I sat down at the computer to stalk bloghop.

This is what I hear...

C: "HUSH! Me not say dat. Hush." Smacks her lips... "Hush. No. Hush. Hush."

This continues for what seems like forever.

I let her get it all out.

I mean how long can I expect her to go without saying it... you know?!

I don't think she ever even tee-teed.

She opened the door when she was done and I went in to clean her up.

I didn't say anything to her about saying it.

Sometimes we just need a little privacy to get things off of our chest.

It's ok Sweet Caroline.

You go in the bathroom and say hush all you want.

Mommy will just close her ears and I won't hear a thing.

You are right... sometimes we all do need a little privacy.

Oh, that is adorable.

And, I love listening in on them, too! You get a lot of insight.

Now, hopefully, she isn't like Isabelle and proceeds to put the whole roll of tp in the toilet when she gets her privacy.

May you and your family be blessed,

That is sweet! Charlotte is going through the "shut up" phase. We are doing well with getting rid of it. But, it is more training for ME not to say it!
