My favorite pictures lately...

I wanted you to meet a few cuties I have had the privilege of taking photographs of this summer.

------------------------------------

The summer began with a photo shoot with a brother and sister.
Meet Jarrett and baby sister Kenley.
This was right before Kenley's 1st birthday party (which was owl themed).
She was tu-tu cute!!

This summer, I also met some friends for family shots at the beach.
This is Blair.
He is absolutely the cutest baby I have ever laid eyes on.

I also did Justin's pictures.
I have been doing pictures of him since he was tiny.
His birthday is less than a month before Bug's.
However, they are not in the same class at preschool.
Justin will be a year ahead of her in school because he just made the August 31st cutoff date.

He is a character and is always making people laugh!

I also had the chance to take pictures for a close friend.
This was the second time shooting her little one.
Gracie is a mess.
She has grown so much in the past year.
She was NOT happy about me being in her face, taking her picture.
I did get one sweet smile from her though.

I just did pictures for a family member.
They are the most gorgeous family ever.
Little Londyn was awesome for the camera.
She is such a cutie!

Girlfriend, loved the water until...

... she decided to sit down in it.
She was NOT a happy camper with a wet, sandy dress.
However, she was too cute and it made for adorable pictures.

------------------------------------

Thanks to everyone for asking me to take your pictures.
I have so much fun spending time with you and your families!

Butterflies

So the other day on FB someone posted this.

I loved it.

I read it over and over.

20 bones getting fractured... wow!  "I really am superwoman," I was thinking to myself.

Holla!

After reading it about 10 times, smiling proudly and patting myself on the back I noticed the picture.

For real?

A baby coming out.

Really?

Ummm.

Nobody wants to see that.

It brings back memories of those 57 del units of pain and makes me want to throw up.

It also made me try to remember if my babies were face up or face down when they were born.

NOT a good memory/image when you are trying to boost a woman's confidence.

What is wrong with butterflies?  Couldn't they have just put a nice butterfly in the background?

Oh, Carolina

Summers in rural Eastern North Carolina are exactly what you would expect them to be.

... Full moons on the mill pond ...

... sunsets that look like the trees are on fire ...
&
... growing tobacco ...

... burning wheat fields ...

... corn ...
... lots of corn ...
... and that's not the kind of corn you eat, folks ...

... pink feathery flowers on the mimosa trees ...

... peanuts ...
... at least I think they are peanuts anyway ...

Southern summers are

... quiet ...
... hot ...
... anything but slow...
... wonderful ...

Be jealous you city slickers.

More pictures...

I just wanted to play a little picture catch up.

--------------------------------------

Meet sweet two year old Michaela.

This is the family we bought Zoey from.

She is too sweet. And look at all that hair!

Meet Brennan.

Talk about a cutie!

I've taken pictures of Brennan a few times. First when he started sitting up. Again when he started crawling. Now, it was time for pictures of him RUNNING! He doesn't walk. He runs everywhere he goes!

Meet Brevyn.

Brevyn's parents wanted some one year shots of her. Of course, her mom came loaded with the cutest stuff including a fabric cupcake that was to die for!

Meet Justin.
I think you may have met him before.

He is always so fun to work with.
He says the funniest things and loves his mama so much.
He is so sweet but is definitely ALL boy.

Meet Miss. Mollie.
Newborn shoots stress me out to no end.
However, the outcome is always great so I don't know why I stress.
I'm only going to post one picture because her parents are going to use one for the birth announcement and I don't which one they have chosen yet. I don't want everyone to see the picture before the announcement.
